FAMUJA originated in Baltimore, Maryland, and while our roots are local, our mission and impact are not limited to any single city or state.
FAMUJA is a youth led movement created to empower young people to serve their communities while pursuing their ambitions. We believe purpose and drive do not cancel each other out. You can build, create, compete, and still give back.
The movement is built on action rather than image. FAMUJA exists to encourage responsibility, creativity, and leadership among youth through real world involvement and long term vision.
Who’s Famuja?
The FAMUJA Foundation is the nonprofit arm of the movement and serves as the base for our community focused work. FAMUJA is a legally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization operating in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Through the Foundation, we carry out seasonal and community based initiatives designed to meet real needs as they arise. These efforts include clothing donations, winter support for unhoused individuals, back to school initiatives, food drives, soup kitchen support, and collaboration with other nonprofit organizations.
FAMUJA also operates a range of youth led initiatives that align with our mission to empower young people through responsibility, creativity, and discipline. These initiatives include fundraising services, creative and media projects, and platforms that allow youth to explore their interests while contributing to community impact.
FAMUJA Apparel is owned by the Foundation and structured to support both creators and community work. Fifty percent of profits from FAMUJA Apparel are directed to the nonprofit, while the remaining portion supports the designers and creatives behind each collection. FAMUJA merchandise offered through the Foundation exists solely to support nonprofit initiatives.
Additional initiatives include FAMUJA Media and Photography, which provides a platform for youth driven visual storytelling, FAMUJA Motorsports, which promotes legitimate and structured paths into competitive racing as an alternative to illegal street racing, and FAMUJA Films, which documents the ongoing journey of building the movement.
FAMUJA is growing intentionally. Every initiative is developed with transparency, integrity, and a long term commitment to empowering youth and strengthening communities.
